Let's get some fucking perspective here. "Wonder Woman" is good. It's not...94% culled from reviewers great. And I'm glad it's making a fuck-ton of money BUT...if a guy made this movie...it wouldn't be reviewed as great. It has some MASSIVE problems for which SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER....
...any guy who would do what the script does in the end...would be flogged a million times.

Steve Trevor sacrifices himself with a corny line. When in reality...Diana could've just launched the plane into space. They never do address none of the Amazons aging either. They are killed by bullets but they don't age. Or do they? They must....because they are children. What the fuck, movie??!
So the public is really forgiving...and I don't blame them. 75 years and neither of the massive comic book companies with a legit female hero. NOT "Catwoman" because she came from Batman, we're talking standalone shit. Which is weird when the press considers this part of an extended universe.
Maybe I am drawing the new fairness of society. It gives away consolation prizes to subpar work because we understand the hurdles they go through. I'd like to find out where I can sign up for that.
