Miss USA 2017 Kára McCullough, a government scientist, said that affordable health care for U.S. citizens is a “privilege.”
People went apeshit. Why?
It is a privilege. People should respect privilege, NO ONE respects free.
The other thing, Miss McCullough is a scientist. So now people who are pro-Obama are so confused. A Black woman who is a scientist but believes something that they don't agree on. That is what we call...diversity. I don't think she is any different than any of us though. For instance, Pro-Choice doesn't mean you're pro-abortion. The fucking thing is in its title "choice." Jesus.
Also, affordable health care is a privilege. A ton of countries don't even get clean water and we've got people bitching on our behalf for migraines. Which y'all are giving me with this universal health shit. I think everyone needs health care, now give me some possibilities of funding it.
People are calling her ignorant and dumb now. Or misinformed. I think if you really break down what she means, it's an accurate statement.
