L.A. Riots: 25 years later

Rodney King...Jesus what a hot mess. The fucking guy died in his pool high on something. You can blame his injuries to being hooked up. But, let's be honest, the guy was on PCP when he was beaten by the L.A.P.D.

Nothing has changed. I'm sure there will be another riot. Like earthquakes...it's just part of this town's buzzing reflexive arm. I've never been in a riot in any other state. I think Michigan was the closest...as Detroit burned and has only gotten worse.

I'm not sure the logic behind destroying your own town. I would hope the next riot would have it where Mayor Villagrosa's or Gavin Newsome's mansions would be torched. See how fast things change then. See how accepting they are. But, of course, that will never happen. I'd go after bankers. They are the worse of the worse.

What do riots produce? Nothing. South Central L.A. is still shitty. Because everyone still feels the victim. Because cops still treat them like criminals. The cycle continues and no one really wants to address the issue. What is the issue? Stop doing stupid things to one another. Make education and family priority NUMBER ONE. Not the best sports player there. Prove to others your race, color or creed aren't animals. It worked for the Koreans during the riots. They are doing fine. They could've easily gone down that road.

And please feel some shame if you were ever involved in destroying other people's property. They weren't the ones beating on Rodney. Get that through your head.
