Celebrities are rushing to Michelle Williams' defense following a report that she was paid over 1000 times less than Mark Wahlberg to reshoot scenes of "All The Money In The World."
Sources told USA Today that Wahlberg earned $1.5
million for the reshoot while Williams only received an $80 per diem
that amounted to less than $1,000.
Actress and activist Amber Tamblyn the reported pay gap “totally unacceptable.” Producer Judd Apatow said of the story “so messed up that it is almost hard to believe.” Jessica Chastain
who is currently starring in the Golden Globe-nominated “Molly’s Game,”
said Williams is a “brilliant” actress who “deserves more.”
The above is known as '"hypocrisy." Hollywood will stand and clap for that rah-rah equality shit and fuck over anyone that will allow it.
Celebs 'aint gonna do shit. Like Robert DeNiro (whom I credited for shutting his yap came out and made a massive fool of himself). DeNiro plays tough guys on set, but I realized something...the guy is a massive dumb pussy. Can't put words together unless they're written down. And, sorry for being disrespectful to an intense actor and one I enjoyed watching for so long, but it occurred to me why...the guy doesn't have an identity. Most humans tend to...have a give an take. It seems we put him on such a pedestal, he has the same oddball perversion someone like Marlon Brando had. It's most likely a combination of things. But I feel for the guy. Since his ramblings to honor Meryl Streep seems...out of character for one so at a loss for words when describing his craft. NEVER...and I mean NEVER listen to his commentary on "Analyze This." He is borderline retarded.
