Don't know much about them. Assuming they are foreign press that cover Hollywood.
I hear a ton of rumbling this year that people are upset because it's going to get political. Firstly, I hate Seth Meyers. The guy is as funny as prison rape. Also, he has that face you instantly want to hit with a fire extinguisher. Yet he still lives. How? Whatever.
The other side is the actors/directors/writers who use this podium as a way to push their disgust for social injustices (they perceived) and sexual abuse.
Hey you dumb motherfuckers...YOU are the ones doing it the most. Much like not paying women equal, the rest of the world figured it out. These assholes are announcing like they are the front line. Dumb fucks.
Then they deflect their own crimes (sound familiar...Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump).
These assholes take from the criminals and then tell us...the people we need to be better people. Are you laughing yet.
Can I put it in this perspective...
Imagine if I went into someone's home and stole their prized art collection then turned around and told that guy that he needs to protect his shit better and I know just the guy? You'd shoot me in the face and throw me in a dumpster.
So, as America grows sick of Hollywood and their hypocrisy...they continue to reward themselves for pretending really well and getting paid more than the people you're lecturing.
And then they wonder why America voted Trump (thanks you fuckers).
