Trump's campaign had me thinking about that movie "The Dead Zone." There's a scene when Christopher Walken, having gained the power of future sight, sees that Martin Sheen becomes President Of The United States. Then because of power and insanity, he launches missiles at our enemies, thus ending all life on Earth. Walken then becomes an assassin to thwart the future that is surely about to happen.
In his attempt to assassinate Sheen, Walken is killed but Sheen survives. HOWEVER, Sheen...being seen as the coward and spineless bureaucrat that he is, takes cover behind a child as Walken fires on Sheen. In a last grip on Sheen, Walken sees how he is shamed in life, becomes a drunk due to the failed campaign and kills himself. Sorry to ruin it for you.
Anyway, I get this uneasy feeling Trump's life can go either way. I don't care enough about the world to save it like Walken did. I mean it sucks since it means I missed out on some experiences in life. But, you almost get the sense all of us have this sixth sense to know Trump is a power mad imbecile hot head. And this is the man who has his finger on the button.
Kinda' weird.
