Dignity

When Rock Hudson died of AIDS years ago, I don't recall many people dancing on his grave. Though very little was known of the disease. The important part...even less was known that he was a homosexual.
It's more than likely now that few celebs hide their sexuality that are under the age of 50. Though people like Neil Patrick Harris play it for comical effect, they flaunt it as if the general public needs to know. It's not until  a gay commits a horrible act that it is even brought up (Kevin Spacey) otherwise, no one cares.
I think the public has now turned on Hollywood because they act like we're narrow-minded boobs and that they're teaching us a lesson through their performance. This is aggravating, especially as the people who need the lesson the most are these Hollywood Liberals who don't appear to have a moral compass.

A friend of mine did die of a horrific drug problem. To which very little is said due to shame and embarassment. But more to honor a guy who had mental problems. To me that meant so much more than broadcasting an anti-anything campaign when it comes off as us lecturing to people who don't need the message. That's the laughable side. Because Hollywood was caught in a sexual assault scandal, everyone has to hear their message. Nope.
I think the new generation of famous people should really use Rock Hudson as an example to live quietly in your life and die wth dignity instead of using social to push a cause when it effects you. That's how you gain support.
