"Les Mistons" (1957)

Francois Truffaut's short film about a girl who a group of adolescent boys see riding a bicycle and get a massive crush on, then proceed to torment her when she attempts to have a relationship with a man.

This movie is sweet and sad. The girl of their affection is Bernadette Lafont, a buxom, leggy woman, who seen from the perspective of a teen, I would say...probably would ruin you from other girls.
Bernadette and her beau are oblivious to the antics of these young boys, but continue to enjoy new found love. To see the evolving relationship through the eyes of youth are both endearing but also heartbreaking. As we all realize the objects of our affections never end up being realized as we grow older.

A fantastic short film to seek out, if you're attempting to figure out what makes a solid short film.
