Saudi Arabian Women and Driving

Look, just remember to keep the camel under 35mph in a residential neighborhood...
And so begins jokes...(or at least my bad one)...in the great country that gave us the World Trade Center bombers...
Women will hit the roads in Saudi Arabia on Sunday with the lifting of the world's last ban on female drivers, long seen as an emblem of women's repression in the conservative kingdom.
The move, ordered last September by King Salman, is part of sweeping reforms pushed by his powerful young son Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who aims to transform the economy of the world's top oil exporter and open up its cloistered society.
"We are ready, and it will totally change our life," said Samira al-Ghamdi, a 47-year-old psychologist from Jeddah, one of the first Saudi women to be issued with a driving license.
I think it's great that they are lightening up on some dumb policy of women not being able to drive. I'm sure, much like out 19th century rules were with women NOT being able to go out after a certain time without a male escort, a well meaning rule. Now, they're...well, look guys, they will be doing many more things soon and then, maybe take it up the ass and then you guy will relax more. Instead of being angry suicide bombers. The process works.
So, a questions from the written exam:
When you see Rushdie with a mule packed with trade goods for the bizarre down the center of the road, do you:
a) yield left
b) yield right
c) press on your horn
d) wave to Rushdie
e) all the above
Shit, their tests are much more surreal than our own. Anyway, happy motoring you women drivers, enjoy the insurance hike!
