People about 14 miles away from me have been evacuated, mandatorily. That means they have to go...somewhere else like a hotel while they wait to hear if their stuff burned down. My location is in the city so it's hard to imagine it getting this close. But anything could happen. The smell is in the air. The cars are covered with ash.
Nothing saves us from the devastation of something so quick (and seemingly) so random. I suspect arson, all the time. These forest areas which should be maintained by California parks, seem to slack a little. Maybe they're being underfunded because the fucking management is spending money on defending illegal immigration.
The northern Californians and the southern Californians are being hit. So you can't say "God hates the homos"Maybe you can. The rest of the United States seems to be unsympathetic to the people affected. Many are working class people who don't have anything anymore. Try rebuilding your life after the age of 30. My natural reaction was to join in the hate. Because people who can afford to buy a house are probably evil greedy fucks. But, fire doesn't give a fuck. A guy could've spent his inheritance on a home where he was going to raise his family in. Or a Mexican mechanic spent his whole life saving for a home. Or a Chinese immigrant won it in some opium den (just kidding folks).
People in our country are suffering, especially this close to holidays. Remember to be grateful and thankful.
