The Right Way To Do LGBTQ In The Marvel Universe

Just saw Sam Raimi's new "Doctor Strange and Multiverse Of Madness" Not a very good flick. It's a lot thrown at us and all amounts to very little. In the movie, there is a scene where America (ah!) Gomez has a vision of her parents. Who happen to be two dykes. The bad thing here is...who fucking cares about this scene? It doesn't have any bearing on THIS storyline. Which is already throwing too many things at you. The second thing is...they did it right. Yes, they are two muff divers. No, they don't make a big deal out of it. It's just two people doing stuff. Though it does stick out like a sore thumb because it has no bearing on the story they are telling. They shoehorned it in. But glad they didn't hammer you over the head like they are homos. And that's the other thing..,it wasn't like they were making out in the scene to staple the point that Marvel wants more gay imagery. It's just matter of fact. Which is the way to do it. Too many shows center their stories to constantly bring this up. America, nor Doc Strange make a big deal of it. That is this world and they're okay with it. Done deal.
