Merry Xmas 2021!

A lof of people in Hollywood don't greet each other with "Merry Christmas" It goes to show that a lot of the town are godless heathens and would rather never address the fact that it is the day of a man called "Jesus" I 'aint a religious type BUT, I really appreciate religion. I think it keeps most of the shitbags in this town in line. There probably should be more secular religion with the people in this field. Most got into the business to be dirty carnys. That's what movie making is...being gypsies between gigs. You never form relationships of any significance and there's always one foot out the door. Then you do this for 30 to 40 years and then you die, most likely divorced with medical and psychological problems. That's if you're lucky. Yeah, nice Christmas story, right? No the issue is that Hollywood does need more Christ in their lives. First off, really great stories. The bible is full of lessons these dregs of Hollywood could learn from. These are also great drama pieces. Good and bad. And so forth. I think a lot of people delve into the bad and never come back. Hollywood shuns Christmas because it's the like the parent that molested them. Just a massive ball of disappointment year in and year out. The build up to be drained emotionally. Everything is escalated during Christmas. One of the reasons writer Shane Black specifically puts his stories during this time. People are amplified in emotions. You forgive, you love, you hate and you are forgiven. For the most part, I have a disdain for collective Hollywood morale. Sure they love the upbeat nature of the feeling of Christmas but they don't have the foundation of memories to support it. Most people out here are broken lost toys. And the story of "Rudolph The Red-Nose Reindeer" (Rankin/Bass one) plays into their psyche. You can really tell a person by the Christmas movie they traditionally watch. Anyone who watches "Christmas Vacation" are typically wholesome people who have dark interiors. The classics like "It's A Wonderful Life" are conservative. And "Elf" are retards. Just kidding "Elf" watchers. I just think that movie was overblown and dated. Jokes aren't as funny as you remember them (they aren't jokes). Most people who watch "Elf" tend to shun Christmas. Most likely don't like Christmas music. And want to burn the institution of it down. They think they're edgy. They're actually conformist trying to create a cult. Their emotional maturity is obviously one of throwing a tantrum if they don't get their way. You grow out of it. Some don't. To me Christmas is a spirit. That you can bring some happiness into someone's life for a day. Make them laugh. Smile. What's wrong with that. The bigger message is that not to make Christmas into a world ending thing. The girlfriend who didn't return your phone calls (which happened to me a week before Xmas, I still love Xmas). The relatives who think you're a failure, the constant bombardment of judgement. At a certain age, it won't matter any more. It really won't. So Merry Christmas to you and everyone you spend time with today!
