Academy's Diversity Change pt. 2

So, they've now changed the Academy voters' standards to some odd, yet telling requirements:

The academy now aims for women to comprise 48 percent of its approximately 6,000 members and "diverse groups" at least 14 percent as an initial step. Its 51-member board of governors voted unanimously for the changes, which also include limiting members' voting rights to 10 years and expanding recruitment outreach globally.

Boone Isaacs said she is ready to embrace "any and all ways we can increase the conversation about storytelling and how to bring more diverse voices in storytelling into the marketplace."

Yeah, you assholes, that should've been in place before. There are un-casted actors who put "Birdman" into history. So fuck you. And eat shit with your boo-hoo'ing about Michael Keaton. Fuck that guy. He's a smug, entitled clown who got a second breath at life by...whining? Enter...DiCaprio. This fucking punchable-faced pussy-posse leader who is really getting a lifetime achievement award. He is always DiCaprio in ______ (fill in this blank). He can't be anything but. There is no way in fucking hell I believe he could survive a Vermont winter, let alone 1800's frontier shit. Present voters are dumb.

HOWEVER, I will say this...as I've always said, making rules so they become inclusive is racism in itself. I don't vote for an Asian dude because...he looks like me. That's REALLY as racist as it gets. But in government voting they rely on the stupidity of our society to believe that. That's how we got Schwarzenegger and that's how we got Villagrosa. We got confused that the Terminator was going to murder our taxes and make jobs. Preferably as cyborg maintenance. That didn't happen. 'Cause Californians are the dumbest people on the planet. God...why hasn't Arizona invaded us is beyond me.

I'm not completely sure how this will shake out. Obviously White folk have their gripes (except honorary minority George Clooney & Sean Penn). The point of this whole thing is...why should we even give a fuck. It's about movies. Does it make a kid from the ghetto think they aspire to the gold? Some. Usually the people who go looking for it. The point is that, they are media dopes and already success stories. Awards are dumb. Even with these new rules implemented, it's still dumb. They've been fighting desperately for that since...um...1939 when Hattie McDaniel won for "Gone With The Wind." Yet, four...yes FOUR Asian actors have been given the statue for acting. Asians don't even give a shit. So much for diversity.
