The White Guy As Thug

So...
I went to go see an "urban movie" and I noticed on their trailers there were a bunch films that are now depicting Black people as victims of home invasion from White folk.
Really?

In the past 30 years...have we heard of this?

If you noticed the home invaders in those home security commercials...none are Hispanic or Black. They're White. Again...really?

What is happening with our society today where media has to perverse truth into...something else just to prove a point. Perhaps you could say that it does happen. Or that it is a metaphor for police being the "home invaders." In "Get Out" the tables were turned when the Black characters were actually the victims. Uh huh. It didn't matter much in that movie since it was all about the social justice warriors who are essentially phonies. My sentiments exactly.

IF this changes how Blacks perceive themselves in the future, perhaps there's hope. Meaning, that people will feel their lives are worth protecting. Or work towards something worth protecting. As it was in the past, a lot had very little hope.
