I don't like listening to any debate. Most sound like children bickering. But it is hypnotic. How many lies can you cram into a few minutes. And no one really listens to each other. They seem to patronize each other in a condescending tone. Then tap dance. It's sort of uncomfortable to watch because no one speaks like a human being. Except Bernie Sanders. He talks like an old dude with money. It's hard to take him seriously, because he's blustery about things, not like Trump though, as Trump is a comedian. Sanders is emphatic about his belief in things. And quite frankly, seems more genuine than Hillary Clinton or the other guy Martin something. That Martin-something seemed way over his head. Also his face is odd. When he was addressed, it just seemed that he was waiting to go into "talk mode." Like a robot.
Anyway, the whole thing about debating is to get into the topics that make candidates uncomfortable. The Republican one is in February. This one was unique since it happened on the weekend of the awful Paris terrorist attack. You can't prepare a statement that would make anyone feel good about that...especially about the Syrian refugees. I didn't learn anything about the candidates, except that Bernie doesn't need Wall Street, the other two have massive contributions that their own constituency would believe are the culprits of the collapse of America. And the greed to which Democrats tend to shy away from.
Well, I watched this in between watching Baylor get beat by Oklahoma...on Baylor's field. Seems when Baylor met a real opponent, they found out what they were really made of. Incidentally, the Ohio State/Michigan State game is the new big one. MSU doesn't really have much to play for, except to ruin OSU's chances at the big game. That's going to be good.
