Here's what the committee chose as the top 4
1) Clemson
2) LSU
3) Ohio State
4) Alabama
Yeah, one loss Alabama beat out undefeated Baylor, Michigan State, Iowa, TCU. Why? They travel well. And they're good for the viewership. Most likely.
Because you'll watch since you hate to hate on Saban. Who doesn't? The guy's like Bill Bilicheck. Holds tight to information. Has a stupid face. And throws a tantrum when media taps into his decisions. In every story, there should be a villain. I couldn't name one marquee guy on any of the four undefeated teams below them. Saban is perfect.
But this weekend, will sort itself out. Since Alabama plays LSU, to which is going to be pretty badass game. It's the battle of big running backs. Derrick Henry vs. Leonard Fournette.
If 'Bama can't stop Leonard Fournette, they're in deep trouble (obviously).
It's Les Miles versus Saban. I mean, seriously...this is pretty much a playoff game here.
Now a few words about Clemson. They are the real deal. I'm not sure how or why they always have these years where they burst through, but they are fast. And they score a LOT. ACC teams are often dominated by a team like Florida State. They seem to get a lot of brush back because their entire division aren't in the spotlight as much. But Clemson has Florida State this weekend, and it's really going to show if they deserve that 1 spot.
As for Ohio State...they're very vanilla this year. Still waiting itself to the second half to run away with the game. They get Minnesota this weekend, which isn't that big of a game. Personally, at this juncture of the season, I'd have replaced Ohio State with Michigan State, so it would make for a more interesting playoff scenario when the two teams do meet. Buckeyes still have Michigan and Michigan State to deal with. So much for Sisters of The Poor.
