I've said it once, say it again...
we are all bigots, NOT racist. I doubt you think your race is superior. Or maybe you do because you think people in America are oppressed and you have it so nice.
No you don't. You may have it a LITTLE nicer, but everyone is living pretty damn comfortably. How else can you explain people fist fighting at buffets? Seriously...at a buffet, in America.
That's how nice our lives are. Also, if we don't have a $2000 phone, we suck. Bitch, that is a years salary in India.
How much nicer do you assholes want it?
So now we have to find mystical beings to fill our time. "Heroes" like George Floyd. A junkie, is the hero in this story. Seriously folks. What other world and common sense life do we live that a meth/fentanyl user is put on a t-shirt as a martyr? America.
Real Black America is tired of this, by the way. They think the crime is awful, but they do see accountability. The ones who don't are rioting and looting...just because.
I was hanging with a girl the other day talking about our shared childhoods. She mentioned that George's record should not be used against him. I mean, it's because of systemic oppression that caused it.
I'll concede it's possible that a lifelong world of other people showing him bad behavior is the course of his actions and the environment. But it isn't an excuse. Those who support this, have never had anything bad happen to you by someone of the opposite race. I mean REALLY bad. Hate doesn't lie in the person, it lies in the event. So people cope by forgiving. Or whatever.
We are inadvertently subjugating people by giving them excuses. Similar to giving the cop who kneeled on Floyd's neck like some prized animal, a ticket for poor behavior. Both sides have poor behavior, yet one gets mostly support (Black community). While the other has to exist (law).
No, no, no...you have to reveal the bitter truth. It's not clouding the issue or "gaslighting" it's race relations finally being able to be discussed with (hopefully) rational people. And the discussion doesn't begin with "cops are bad, Black man good" because neither is always true. Could it be a criminal is just committing crimes? No, now a bulk of society will believe they can do things without impunity because they can always scream the race card.
Step one is for EVERYONE to admit their own bigotry.
Step two is to laugh about it.
Without harsh race reality, a lot of standup comedians have no material.
