The Gun Answer

And it seemed like the most obvious answer ever.
Comedian Alonzo Bodden simply challenged us to look up toddlers accidentally shooting someone with a gun versus toddlers accidentally running over people with a car. There is the answer to gun nuts.
It was right there in our faces...with the idiots who think people who kill with bombs and cars do more destruction. The point is, a child in daily lives can get their hands on something this destructive AND actually do it with very little effort. The opposite it true and destroys every gun nuts argument. So brilliant.
Also, he suggested liability insurance to gun owners...holy shit...why isn't this a thing? We have insurance for everything else. I figure, much like cars, a lot of illegal assholes aren't going to get insurance. Or get guns on the black market. Fine. It would mean police could ask for proof of insurance. But again, if Sandy Hook kids' death didn't move us into action (ahem...Left and Right) then there is little hope until the next tragedy. And then we revisit ideas again.
