I was always wondering why she disappeared. I happen to like her. She seemed, bad-ass.
She made a strange threat on Twitter about how she about to out some dudes who had abused her. Some big shot Hollywood action director. If it is who I suspect it is...it's going to get weird.
Especially since I met the guy once. And secondly...he doesn't seem like the type.
Hiding in plain sight maybe.
Her story is stranger in that her pop Dario Argento was a big time director in Italy. You would think that dude would come out and blast Hollywood for its perversion. But a guy who would cast his own daughter as a sexy witch may not have perspective. Also, in Europe, it seems much more acceptable for men to aggressively assault women who are actresses because of the lack of respect the profession garners. They don't exactly have the best union that makes producers suffer. Also, to get the role of major movies in Europe, probably assumed you have to have sex with the producer. Most likely the same in China.

There may come a point where a few actresses will admit to having sex for roles. And accept that to be what it is. Much like Lindsay Lohan had come out to defend Harvey Weinstein. It seems there are those who have a different perspective on their success. Some do exhibit being grateful. Others, obviously, carry a great deal of shame having to do what they needed to do to get to the top. Paul Verhoeven will most likely be implicated somewhere. No one would be surprised. This dude whom Asia will name at a later date, I'm certain, will change the game soon.
