You get the feeling this dude wants to laugh. Here's the deal, remember the comedy bit where Eddie Murphy was talking about Johnny Carson's divorce and how the bitch got half. The state of California decided she did her part. So it was over $100 million dollars. The stupid fucking jurors had to wonder...the fuck did she do, run a bake sale? Yeah, any help Mexico gives is a blip on the radar. Let's be honest. And, what's the prevent these "volunteers" to take advantage of the situation. An abandoned home has abandoned goods. I've seen first hand what unsupervised goods can have on sticky fingers. The temptations would be too much.

It does seem odd Mexico's good will. It almost feels like...well...they don't want to be seen as useless. Covering up for providing the world so little. I honestly wonder how the world views Mexicans. Like does the world have this view on....Spain. They are roughly the same people. Or Peruvians? Or people from Chile? Weird, no?

That Damn Wall In Mexico

When Trump told Mexicans they'd be paying for a wall to keep themselves out...well, I just fucking laughed.
But nothing made me laugh harder when these dumb cock-a-roaches south of the border responded like this:

Here is where the proof is in the pudding. Though I love visiting Taiwan and love my relatives, America is the best place to be. I don't bring Taiwanese shit to America. Though I enjoy Taiwanese shit. I certainly don't shit all over it. Which is what the majority of Americans don't do. So why does parts of Los Angeles look like the 3rd world of Mexico? So, I feel I am very nationalistic. But not to Taiwan. To America. And so, here's the deal...if Mexicans were truly insulted, the next step would be to...not run across the border to America. Nationalism is pride in one's own country, yes? That means stay the fuck down in Shit-hole Mexico. Or would this be a lie? Let's get real here, Mexicans have no pride or honor...well, not enough to think that America can deal with them. So, here's the solution to not paying for a wall and shutting Trump up...SHUT YOUR FUCKING FACE MEXICO!! It's that simple. Stop antagonizing Trump and fortifying Americans to hate your dumb asses. Because you draw a TON of attention to yourselves everytime Trump rattles your fucking cages. Mexico is a shitty country. Own up to it. Don't pretend people want to escape to it. Listen, the Left here constantly threaten to leave to Canada. Canada should build a wall to keep them out. Texas Flood

When the water subsides, I'm sure there is going to be a ton of comments about who should've done what. As usual. Like in Katrina. Though I doubt you will have a Kanye go on air and say how a president doesn't like Black people. Which would be funny, if an entertainer went in public and said how the president doesn't like Tex-Mex. Which is actually true.

It is insane how much water the rain brought. A little over 4 feet and counting. Cars were submerged. Houses were flooded. Old people were left behind. But they saved the pets..so that's fine with this stupid fucking American public. I'm still not sure why people hadn't left their homes other than they were probably packing their memories or something and got caught. I considered everything I'd need to pack if I were to leave town. It's really sad. I mean the memories you build up to have God/water take it all away. Will FEMA cover your personal belongings, memories, dear god my precious film negatives! I realize life means much more than...preserving memories. But damn, what is life without memories. Sure, abandoning things...inanimate objects mean nothing as oppose to the life they represent, but it still cuts to the heart.

"Good Time" (2017)

There is a "thank you" credit at the end of this movie for Martin Scorsese and it's most likely because director brothers Josh and Benny Safdie borrow a ton from "After Hours." Everything except...the true eccentricity of New York City.

Not that I would pretend to know that town (as I've never been there), it seems to me a dirty disgusting, crowded shit hole of a place doused in cheap neon lights and cold uncomfortable living. Watching this movie makes you feel slimy. Like a sewer. Because the characters literally sweat in cold weather. That is a very very uncomfortable feeling. Which makes this movie effective on that level.

The story is of brothers Connie (Robert Pattinson) and Nick (Benny Safdie) who commit a bank robbery. During the escape Nick is captured by the police and now faces time in prison whilst Connie now searches for a way to bail out his brother.

That's the story. The rest sort of plays as hi-jinks. Connie goes to the hospital which he believes is holding his brother after a jail fight, only to free a complete stranger. This stranger leads him to an opportunity for bail money. Yep, that's really the story. Also, Nick is retarded or something. I can't really place it, but he's annoying Because he does annoying retarded shit to get him in trouble. As does Connie. The guy he accidentally frees too is that annoying New York City guido whose voice makes you want to punch him repeatedly. Saddle that with the fact that his face looks like Jake LaMotta after 10 rounds and you just want to run through a plate glass window to escape the grimy filth these people are.

To that sense, the movie is really effective. With a soundtrack that is desperately wanting to be a Paul Brickman movie. It's really loud and obnoxious like the movie. The sliver of hope is a girl they run into name Crystal. She is a 16 year old who lives with her Jamaican grandmother. Again tapping into the idiosyncrasies of New York City, she is brilliantly played by Taliah Webster. Sweet and naive, who believes she is more worldly once she crosses paths with real criminals. The result is effectively sad.
I am amazed at the no-budget filmmaking style of the directors who were able to shoot this on film. Beautifully ugly.

Film Scheduling

I went to see "Good Time" this weekend at about 11AM. It is a tiny film released by indie company A24. It says a lot when a theater in Burbank, CA slugs in an arthouse movie. To me, it is that...they are overscheduling their movie release. Most maximize their shit for October/November for Oscar buzz. The rest for holidays ("Star Wars"). And the people are wondering why the theaters are empty.

Because people don't like being treated like fucking cattle. You essentially shoved a massive turd into a micro-filament cable. And people HATE being shuffled into a mess when holidays are already a mess.

I'm not sure how business ever figured out the algorithm of humans. But they seem to really value test marketing and general emotional states to boil down to when people like to watch certain movies. That's fucking horseshit. And you can tell because people left video store rentals and went to streaming. Streaming is...well, it's a jukebox. Where your specific emotions guide what you wanna watch. Give that remote to the studios and theaters and...no one shows up. Yes, they are attempting to lead you into a slaughter room.

Here's the truth, from the barrio that I sometimes watch movies...
people go to the movies to either a) stop talking to their spouse b) let the movies babysit their kids.
That's it. It also gives social media something to bitch about. That's why people stop going to theaters too...because it's more fun to bitch at something you HAVEN'T seen. Never underestimate the stupidity of the public.

So this is what I wish would happen. Release the movies when you want to release the movie when the movie is done. How about that? Forget the empirical data for just a year and see how it goes. What can it hurt, you're already about to go down with the ship...again.  

Tobe Hooper dies at 74

I consider him one of the most overlooked horror directors in the canon of horror guys. Though I confuse him with Joe Dante a lot. Not by looks, but because they seem to have come out at the same time doing similar looking movies.

Not mentioned as much as someone like Wes Craven though more mentioned than someone like Sean S. Cunningham. I would see him puttering around the Cigar Warehouse in Sherman Oaks, California. An old dude who just threw his money at the proprietor and walked out hoping not to answer any questions. I doubt any of the other grey hairs in there knew either. Not that I consider myself a huge fan of Tobe Hooper, but he deserves a place in the Hall of Fame for "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" The movie which keeps getting remade and re-told as much as Spider-man. It's annoying. The story isn't that interesting. Though...to Hooper's credit he turned this simple idea into a never-ending franchise. To me...that is genius. That's up there with George Lucas's "Star Wars" being sold to the same idiots over and over again. Also, let's face it, the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" would be rated PG today.

God rest your soul now Mr. Hopper. Well done. A fascinating guy.

Busy

It's great to be busy. I mean, moving around busy anyway.
I've been juggling a lot of things going on at once. And it's been a good thing between the choices I've been given. It's not like anything is something I dread. Which is great.
I'm collaborating on a feature script and a web series. And re-editing old projects. Revisiting old films I've made. Processing film. Casting for the projects. Location scouting. Buying film equipment.
Just really getting everything in place. And yet...I feel very little stress. I wonder if this isn't the feeling of just...contentment. There is no real pressure and am surrounded by like-minded people.
Also, I'm easing back on resentment. Maybe because I realized a lot of what I am resentful for isn't really real.

Anyway, stay busy if you can. I mean, I'm busy but it doesn't stop me from blogging (obviously). I think this place gives me room to vent all the garbage that I don't have to in real life.

Gym Talk About Racism

I know a few of you probably think I'm very bigoted. Which is funny. And fine. Most of us Asians are full blown racist. But adaptable.
I had the most interesting conversation that created a new perspective about Blacks in America.
Systemically, we will never see Blacks as anything less than inferior. As a nation what has happened is that after slavery, nothing was ever put into place to encourage education or the fruits of freedom. What we did was offer 40 acres and a mule. That's like when you win a car on "The Price is Right" and you can't pay the taxes. And this still goes on. I think what bugs me is that this state of California throws money at the problem instead of pinpointing the real problem. As it goes both ways.

Money doesn't solve the crime problem. In fact, it may encourage it. Consider a welfare check that sustains a life for a month. Imagine if you cut that person off. What would that person do? Find ways to get back to that way of living. That is welfare and it is encouraged to fleece the system. The issue comes from turning perspective as well. The Black community needs to push education and family to a point where it's embarrassing to us that we fell behind (Asians did it, surpassed Whites so far in education, they had to create something to keep us out of colleges). The issue can also be solved with the Black community incorporating the pride in education. That it isn't a "White privilege." That reading and writing is to be commended. Too many Black inner city folk get real upset when one person wants to make something of themselves. They shame them from it because they still had instilled in them...the notion that there are "house niggers" or "field niggers." There aren't any. You are Americans. The pride to be American. A lot join the military for this reason.

The guy I spoke to was a White guy from Texas who basically said that the racist divide is because America has never properly recompensed the Black community for slavery. In my mind, I considered the handouts/welfare were the payback. Nope, it's debilitating. The reality is, what we really screwed up on was that it never provided the hope of assimilation. Not like my family who came here on their own.

It changed my perspective a lot. On how I view my Black friends. My friend Mark is a super thriving Black guy. I am ashamed to say, as successful as he's been...way past me. I've always categorized him "less than" subconsciously. He's provided so much (though made similar mistakes I have). He is a driven intelligent generous human being. To which now, with this conversation, added a new element to how the world sees Blacks. It isn't an excuse, but it sure makes you consider that the angry Black man standing next to you has faced generations of suspicion before he's reached your orbit.

Removing Statues

What does it say about your people if preemptively removing them would deter rioting?
Yep, you negotiate with terrorist. It's probably a stretch, but if you're Jewish neighbor was so against Christmas that he asked you to remove your nativity scene, would you do it? I'd do it just to stop the whining. Most Americans who celebrate Christmas wouldn't. But that will be in our future (which is why Trump got elected).

The University of Texas has removed their Confederate statues. In the middle of the night, like cowards. What will go in its place will be up for debate. Seriously though, why put anything there at all. Our history is pretty much being erased anyway. A lot of people consider Facebook or Instagram as their photo album in life. What difference does it make? In the 8 years with Obama, we were all conditioned to believe the small stuff makes a difference. These things do nothing. Except really piss off historians (apparently). But people love scientist, can take-or-leave historians.

Frankly, I don't care. I didn't pay for them and I don't go to colleges anymore. I don't think anyone should. We should bankrupt them because they are REALLY useless, except as football factories and that's all dying now too. Is taking down the statues curing cancer or lowering crime in the inner city. Or lowering taxes. Nope. It's simply a dumb move made by dumb people to stop idiots from protesting stupid shit. Meanwhile, 500 people in Sierra Leone died. Simply washed away in a flood.

The Left Are Diabolical

I was a liberal Left when I was a teenager. It seemed just right to be happy and laid back and just relaxed. Which is how I saw the Left.

In the show "Family Ties" it shows a post-hippie family who is raising three kids in Ohio. BOY, did I get that. Mostly because they had two daughters and a son. The son, Alex P. Keaton, was uber-Conservative Reagan worshipper who cracked wise. The thing is...they cast'd a Canadian. Also, the show was created by Gary David Goldberg.

The show depicted the Mother and Father as flawed but happy hippies struggling to do "the right thing" under the oppressive 80's under Ronald Reagan. They don't make mention of Reagan in terms of politics (like they most likely would with Trump) but we hear tidbits of how greedy Republicans are. Money doesn't make you happy as much as family does, Alex!

This insidious message creep'd into me for years. And it's true, being rich doesn't stop misery. However, chasing the dollar isn't a Left or Right thing. It's a people thing. The Left are so full of shit when they have convinced America they aren't as money -grubbing animals as everyone else.

That is why I'm so upset with the Left. Think about it, using media they rounded up the troops under the guise of "free speech" marchers being White nationalist. Did they ever show the Mexican, Asian or Black faces that were there FOR free speech? It doesn't follow the media's need to fuel the anger to click on their stories. White Privilege...Again

If we're being honest about race relations, let's be honest as we can here...
When we speak of White privilege it is predominantly the privilege of not being Black or Mexican. These two...EXACTLY. So White Privilege to Blacks and Mexicans stems from being picked on by Whitey and never getting a fair shake. This is victimizing these people. And...you people are worse than Hitler. The reason Asians and Indians survived in America...and yes, it is a privilege in my mind to be here, is because assimilation meant you could get a comfortable life if you bend your culture into the one that is your adopted country (I can't believe I have to explain this again). White privilege assumes you are born into wealth. Immediately OR that you aren't seen as a criminal. Or that people won't shoot you. That is if you don't do stupid shit. "this movie is to say the least, one of the worst things done to mankind in the past 100 years right behind the a-bomb. I had the misfortune of seeing this piece of garbage with my sister for her birthday. I would not recommend seeing this movie even it it is for comic value of how bad it is. Seriously, this movie actually got better when I remembered my wife carried pepper spray in her purse, and I dug it out and sprayed myself in the face until the canister was empty.

But, in fairness, not ALL aspects of this movie were 1 star out of 10, and the single score system for IMDb does not address such. So, I will try and expand the grading system:

Plot: WTF were they thinking? Cast: 2 stars. Cinematography...*chortle*. Acting: At least as good as some hip-hop videos played om MTV...you know, the ones starring Vanilla Ice. Costumes/Wardrobe: 4 stars. (See, I am being fair.) Maker-up: Disgusting. On SOOOO many levels. Sheer disgust factor: 1,000,000 stars. The freaks who made this don't seem to understand that laughing at people who are not beautiful is a lot like laughing at people who suffer from a lack of mental ability--it shows your own ugliness.

Forget the fact that the monster-girl blooms, most of the movie she is the troll that gets beaten for our amusement.

"Detroit" vs. "Girl's Trip"

"Girl's Trip" or "Black Lady Hangover"
Both of these movies got raving reviews. As if people were afraid to tell people the truth. You know who wasn't afraid to tell the truth? Black women.

What is Bigelow's deal anyway? Was this a story that needed to be re-told. And if so, couldn't you wait till Oscar season? Wouldn't have gotten a great review from the Black community as she most likely hoped, but you would've gotten a massive push by guilt-ridden hypocritical shit-bag trans-everything Hollywood.

And it's written on EVERY other reviewers site. As if watching this tragedy by White film reviewers promotes them to honorary social justice banner waver. Same thing for that re-tread garbage that was "Birth Of A Nation" made by a rapist. Sorry, alleged rapist. He was exonerated. Though, way to bury the story of how the girl Nate Parker allegedly raped killed herself years later. Mentally unstable women, man.

So here we are saddled with two "Black movies." One blasted into the stratosphere. Yes, "Girl's Trip" repeated the success of "Hangover" for Black women. The real story...Blacks didn't go see "Hangover" Before you tell me "Fuck you, there were a ton of Blacks who went." Nope, the demographics were for middle America. Lily White. So, Hollywood, in its infinite joy to show diversity made a movie aimed directly towards Black women. Now their partners can feel the dread all other people feel being dragged to garbage. "Hangover" was dumb as fuck. But it does illustrate how it doesn't matter what color you are...you are ready for stupid. And it was brilliant on "diverse" Hollywood to exploit it. Think about it. Trump in office...the fuck they wanna see "Detroit." And be reminded how cops hate them. To be reminded Chicago is killing itself. They want...to live in fantasy. Real life sucks. I'm with you all. It's tragic. Having fun and getting into stupid situations is much more fun.

Anna Faris and Chris Pratt Split Up After 8 Years Of Marriage

It's her second marriage. Surprise, surprise, surprise.
They have a son together.
Here's the reality...
He probably started fucking around. But she didn't care. That's a red flag. They got bored with one another. As this world makes people do. And they both started seeing better options in life. Like...independence. What's sad is that they most likely had a kid to stay focused on...their family. That didn't help. It's not like either need the money. They can downsize. I listen to Anna Faris's podcast. She's funny, in that glib dull voiced way. In fact, she probably thinks she's the funniest person in the room. Pratt can be heard in the background every once in a while.
She has the mouth of a sailor. She's cute in that she has a acid tongue but does so with such sweetness. But...let's be honest, too much honesty can kill relationships. She seems like she's one of the guys.

8 years is a long time in celebrity world. Creative types get bored easily. Successful creative types get bored with people immediately.

I'm still not sure why Trump or Obama still don't want to label these acts as religious terrorism. For instance, Obama didn't want to call it Islamic terrorism. As much as Trump doesn't want to call this Christian terrorism. At least I get Trump's stance. They still don't know who do it. Obama, on the other hand, man the fuck up, brother. You're suppose to have balls that hang to the ground. You're not suppose to be afraid of (what you consider) a small yet significant population of America. Yet, they were Muslims practicing Islam and they committed acts of violence. This is fact. This is truth. No matter how bastardized you don't want to make it.

The difference between someone like Timothy McVeigh and these Islamic terrorists, is that McVeigh isn't an ideology that exists in historical religion. His was a gripe with el govermento. Which I can't blame him, though his execution of his fight against 'Murica was...well, he could do without collateral damage. If you've dealt with government, you know his frustration. In his case, he obviously crossed a line. When you talk about religious ideology...the label for them is "nutjob." Why? They are evil in the sense that they took religion and functioned in the extreme. Do the White Supremicist here do the same? Yep. But we call them for what they are. Actually I call all Christians nutjobs. As I do Muslims. As I do Jews...and so forth. Religion is dumb. Because God doesn't smite you for not doing his bidding. Nor does Allah, or whomever. Life smites you for believing a stupid book. Many stupid books, in fact. Religion exists in really intelligent successful people too. Wonder what they're trying to suppress.

So folks, just call the religion what it is. When, of course, we find out. Seems no one is afraid to call Asians "Chinaman" or "Gooks" or whatever. Time to truly label the culprits of violence (through religious zealots).

Youth...Appreciate It

A dear friend was kind enough to give me this vintage Playboy. Most likely the collector busted his spooge all over the pages and it flaked off. Or (hopefully) he didn't care for Maud Adams. The cover girl is Cathy St. George.

I was six years old when this issue came out. Already in America and dodging inner city nonsense. I believe we'd just left Virginia and gone to Kentucky. At the same time this busty beauty was dodging grotto rape and early flu...I mean AIDS, I was just walking my ass to school in some cold ass weather.

What I started thinking was...this lady is in her late 50's early 60's now. It's really bizarre. To think that she is grandmother age now. Oh feathery hair...why don't we see it any more?

What it really got me thinking is...our lives are so temporary. This lovely smoking hot piece of tail is now considered just another pretty elderly woman in the crowd. If you are this lovely, I would suggest treating people nicer. Specifically yourself, because honestly...you will live to regret the awful things you do to people. And I'm just using this as an example of how fleeting youth can be.

Cobra Kai

These hucksters aren't going to know much of anything. Will they address Ali with an "i" or Robin Lively or Tamilyn Tomika or...Hilary Swank. Doubtful. They're all smart enough not to go for this. Though, we may definitely get all the Cobra Kai back. Even Kreese. It bums me out when a story seems to have ended but doesn't die. It feels like a party for high school friends who I never went to high school with. I'm sure I should be having fun, and most likely, will force myself to have fun, but...it's really no fun.

A Gift For Actors

Yep...actors need to come prepared. The idea of that pretentious scarf wearing dummy who needs to discuss motivation and manipulating actors to do what you want doesn't exist. In fact, I consider insulting to your talent whom you hire as a professional. In other words, you've got zero faith in the actors you casted, if you intend on "working with them." Any trained film actor knows what all the professionals say..."know your lines and find your light." Film school fucks...stop "directing" your actors. Let them find it and adjust.

Michelle Carter, The Suicide Caller

Man, it sucks. No one has cool nicknames anymore. Michelle Carter was that girl who talked her mentally ill boyfriend (then ex) to get back into a car full of carbon monoxide, because he wanted to kill himself. And he did. Mission accomplished. She was sentenced to 2.5 years. Which, maybe unlikely she'll do any time.

People are all bent out of shape because...they think her texting caused him to kill himself. Here's an idea Mom and Dad of crazy son who killed himself over a uni-browed girl...DO YOUR FUCKING JOB.

But nope, they pile onto this little bitch their failure. Because that's what society allows us to do now. Blame others and not themselves. Oh, okay, I get it, if we were to turn the mirror on ourselves, we couldn't tolerate it. Parents fucked up royally, boy gets hooked up with cold blooded bitch of a girl. She gets punished. If that were true, now all women better be careful. Especially the ones who thrive on manipulating people. Because that door has closed now.

Dopey McMopey

I ran into a guy at the gym whom I've known for a while now. He claim himself and actor but...when I ask him about his plans, he never has any. He's pretty blase about anything. Most actors I know how SOME life in them. This guy is dead and soulless. So it was a little unnerving to continue any conversation, polite or otherwise. He did confess that a while back when I told him that he shouldn't wait to be cast'd in anything but to make his own content, he shrugged me off. Now I'm not a fucking genie, but if you are bouncing around Los Angeles hoping for anyone to come knocking at your door, get the fuck out now. That's what he was doing. No auditions, no plays, no legwork...NOT serious.

I'm not sure how this guy got to be as entitled as he was other than I believe he has a level of resentment coming from the fact that he was Korean born adopted by White family from the midwest. Ugh. White do-gooders do the worse. Because they are mostly Jesus freaks. Guess what you aren't going to raise? Because spirituality isn't because you constantly feel like a rescuer and everyone should be grateful. So there you have it. Conversely, I have another Korean born White family raised friend who hustles like I've never seen. He was also raised in the Midwest, and though he has the same resentment, he is FOCUSED. This dude works his ass off. Makes his own content and continues to nudge his networks constantly. I met him doing my stuntman podcast and he is relentless in getting shit done. A nice guy who has a chip on his shoulder to make stuff. Reminds me that I should contact him again.

Anyway, it feels like most people in this town who want to work in the entertainment field need to learn things the hard way. In truth, I did too. Not that I didn't think I needed a job to supplement filmmaking, but that the road wasn't the most direct. And therefore it was a distraction. This is wrong. ANYTHING you can do to remain working at your craft (YES, motherfucker...CRAFT) do it. There is no shame in supplementing any passion you have with the drudgery you need to endure. Otherwise, how important was it to begin with. And yes, as you get older the passion makes a little room for reality. It's not a bad thing to stay here as long as you can. And stay relevant if you can.

Who cares anyway? These days, kids go to college to hide from the real world. People who go to Ivy League know they're intelligent, and MAYBE it's a good place to network, but no one really takes it all that seriously anymore. If I were to teach anything, it would be a craft or a tech skill of some kind. Like rebuilding a car engine or wood shop. Seems it's the only information worth anything anymore. In the old days when I went to school being book learned meant something. Today...it just means you can afford to put off life for another 4 years. I know, cynical, but it cost too much for anyone to care. And it certainly is a shittier place since the soft Millenials got a hold of it. Pussified haven for breeding super-Pussies.

Mallory Grossman: 12 year old suicide

Mallory Grossman's folks are suing their school for not doing enough to prevent cyberbullying.
Man, it is ROUGH being a child. Rough and easy at the same time. Rough that there are no secrets your friends can spread about you if they hate your guts. Easy because you have access to anything you want to learn about anything.

I find it hard to sympathize with parents who sue a school over what is easily ignored at home. Or by confiscating a cell phone and not allowing their daughter to face the ugliness which is late middle school.

I often wonder what would be of my life had I had social media. I doubt we'd all have time to develop as humans when all our lives are constantly under scrutiny. I'll tell you what though, I made a ton of videos, so most likely my shit would've ended up on YouTube full of people hating on my stupid antics. Dumb backyard horror movies. Back in the day, I made them just to show my classmates. That was enough. What I mean about development is this...sometimes the quiet times away from school means so much more than having every waking day tethered to schoolmates. I presume Miss Grossman was so tied into the terrible teen inner circle of pettiness that she couldn't deal with shame anymore. I get that. I can't believe how many nightmares I've had over shameful dumb shit I still remember from those days. It cuts deep. More so if she had to live the rest of her adolescence facing these monsters who've embarrassed her time and time again.

As her parents, I realize they are hurt by the stupidity of the school. And as most assholes on the internet have done, they place the responsibility of this cyberbullying on the bullies' parents and not the school. I'm not entirely sure anymore. I would guess they sued the school because the citizens don't have money. They're hurt and angry and want answers. Though suing the school does nothing as they are just as complicit as someone breaking their nose over a game of kickball. Kids are awful to each other. Maybe the real lesson is to toughen children up more for the reality of humanity. And find an outlet to which life seems to have ignored.
