Get rid of participation trophies.
Teach kids they don't always get what they want
Swat the young ones, not punch, swat
Change laws in favor of discipline for parents to have (at least) foothold
Hold parent(s) accountable under age of 14
Parents, stop being your kids' friend
Negotiating with young people doesn't work. You lose your authority. Life is fair (let that be their mantra). It just may not be in your favor...temporarily.
Never let kids be bored. Insist on their own fascination.
Yeah, all this is easier said than done. But I'm sick of reading some emo shitbag killing people.
