When I was a kid, my folks would make me gourmet Chinese food. Aaaaand, of course, I'd complain. I don't want shrimp in lobster sauce, I'll trade for the PB&J.
There was a generation of kids who weren't allergic to anything. AND, would even go as far as to dare others to eat or drink a sluice of school lunch crap aimed at...well, laughs.
Michelle Obama wants school lunches to be healthier. Awesome. I want Kate Upton to sit on my face. Now...where do we divert this? Oh right, there isn't fuckin' money...apparently. Where do we get the money? I got an idea, TAX THE FUCK OUT OF JUNK FOOD. We see it, we know it, and we blindly eat it. So, why do we choke out cigarettes with taxes and booze, whilst Frito-Lay gets a pass. Fuck, I WILL STILL pay a dollar extra to get my cheese puff fix. Does that mean other people will stop. Most likely not. Because it IS convenient. But so is a boiled egg (which I eat as well). The truth is, you can't force schools to regulate what is considered a "healthy meal" for kids. That is really up to the parent. Which I'm always surprise the crap my niece eats. It's sugar on top of salt, on top of...?
A balance meal isn't chicken nuggets, sis.
I like her focus, but it's really the last thing on the plate (pun intended).

No Heart For Russia?
I'm really confused.
I thought we liked Russia. Aside from them being drunk weirdos. Their women are smoking hot and down for...pretty much anything. I think most commie women are. But when did America start hating them so much. More importantly, when did the Left hate them so much. Their socialist ideas coincide with...socialist liberals. It's all so confusing.
My thing has always been, staying consistent. At least, I try. Russians...seem so...maybe it was how I was raised. In Reagan era, Russians were Yacov Smirnoff, dancing bears and unfunny jokes. Hot women, that could be men, I guess. "Rocky IV" all that shit that makes life funny. I mean, now that I'm in Los Angeles, I do see Russians up close. They're pissed off about something. Or impatient about everything. But so are the Armenians. THEY are fucking really annoying. Sorry if that sounds bigoted, but those assholes love the most annoying things about America, and let you know. Loud fucking cars...shitty rap...entitlement.

"The Neon Demon" (2016)
A fresh-face model comes into town and takes the place by storm igniting jealousy and vapid cruel behavior.
Yep. Been there, done that.
To get a better more entertaining version of this movie (though this is MASSIVELY stretched to the limit) watch the introduction scene by Robert Davi in "Showgirls" much more funny.
This is an odd commercial for...God knows what. There is no story here, only a lesson in beauty? Or beauty being in the eye of the beholder (literally) or...superficiality will last you so long? Or women hate other women? This is what I hate about Nicolas Winding Refn, the pretentious fuck. The images are beauty and brutal and...sometimes corpse fuckingly weird. But it really boils down to nothing.
You do keep wondering...Elle Fanning, who plays the lead character, was only 16 years old when she made this. Jodie Foster was younger when she did "Taxi Driver." And this industry still wonders how to protect children...while we celebrate their exploitation.

Opiate Problems
I'd been hearing rumors about my hometown issues with heroin. Then I heard something about painkillers being the gateway to heroin. About 80% turn to the next thing once the doctors stopped writing prescriptions. And now we're worried about health care.
Okay, assholes, big fucking corporations created this dependency on prescription and now it washes its hands of responsibility for addiction. Of course, we have to take personal accountability, but what the diabolical monsters did was funnel their drugs through someone we SHOULD trust. And now it's killing people. And it is evil beyond anything I've ever heard of.
I use to judge those fuckers who shot up and died while their children were in the car. The images are gruesome. They look like normal everyday people. Because they are. They weren't junkies. They somehow grew a dependency to opiates. And I would bet a million dollars it was because of painkillers.
I don't know what to tell people who suffer from pain. Tough it out if you can. But...don't let corporate write your obituary. It kills me that these fuckers are getting away with it because they went through medical school. These people want you dead. They'll make money on the next guy.

Hollywood Age Math

That is such this town's rabid bullshit. And it continues. Because no matter what bullshit this town pumps into you about personal rights, love everyone and blah blah blah...it's still about fantasy and money. Apparently the box office likes to see young women faces. Which is why the plastic surgery store will never run out of that.
But I'm not gonna be hypocrite either. The worse thing to ever see is a foxy porn actress YEARS past her prime. And that's basically what actresses are. Well, even moreso now. There are prettier faces in porn then there are in legit movies. Girls who could be models. However, the chose the more convenient route.
You know what's worse...any movie that would pit a correct age actress with male star, you fucking broads don't support it. Guess what Hollywood does then? Jamie...blame your audience.

I really don't see any reason to quit...I guess. Let the people boot you. I like that this is true progress because the gay mayor is getting shat on like any other politician. Because you wave that in front of a minority mayor, forget it, he'll have a ton of support of his innocence. AND this dude did the very honorable thing of stepping down. Who needs all that bullshit. He allegedly sexually assaulted teen boys. It's a scandal. He's gone. Pretty clean break, I'd say and not that big of news.
